Meet Us

A yarn show takes a lot of organising! Thankfully we have a fabulous group of YAFF Staff who share the workload.
When you come along to the show you’ll recognise the team as they’ll be wearing these bright yellow YAFF Staff t-shirts.
In the meantime read on to meet some of them…
Caroline is the indie dyer and owner of her natural hand-dyed yarn business, Gorgeous Yarns.
She has exhibited her yarns as well as running workshops and talks at many events over the last few years. As such she has experience of being a stallholder, tutor, speaker, & visitor.
Caroline has previously helped to organise other yarn shows, so she has great experience of show organisation & logistics. She also loves to work with pens, paper & scissors, doing the practical making & creating tasks.
She brings her hands-on approach, visualisation expertise, & fabulous baking skills to the team!
Steph is the indie dyer and owner of her hand-dyed yarn business, Perran Yarns.
As such she has exhibited at many yarn shows and events over the last few years, and knows what it’s like to be a stallholder as well as a visitor.
Steph brings her IT background, attention to detail, & a love of spreadsheets to the team!
Hello – I’m Connie!
I’m a fibre enthusiast with a passion for all things creative. If it involves yarn, thread, or textiles, I’m all in! I learned to knit and crochet from my mum, and picked up peg loom weaving and embroidery from my nan. Over the years, I’ve also taught myself needle felting, wet felting, and more recently, I’ve rediscovered my love for sewing.
I’m also YAFF’s Workshop Manager – which means I have the pleasure of assisting with organising and supporting our vibrant extracurricular activities. I’ll be behind the scenes and on the ground, helping to ensure our workshops run smoothly and everyone has a fantastic experience.
I can’t wait to welcome you to our next Yarn and Fibre Festival – see you there!
