Upstairs in the Antony Room there are Skills Spotlight Sessions for you to take part in! Each session costs just £5 per person and includes a free kit for you to use and take away with you.

There are only 8 places per session, so don’t miss out! Book your place in advance using the links below.

Kits and materials will also be available to buy from the exhibitor’s stand.

The Antony Room is accessible via a lift or stairs from the ground floor.

Kumihimo braid making – with Jillian of Jillian Morris Textile Designs

Learn the basic technique of this form of braiding on a kumihimo disk to make a key ring or simple bracelet

Remaining tickets will be available at the Ticket Desk on Show Day.

Time: 11:30 – 12:15

Sock Darning – with Sarah of Sarah’s Sock Knitting

Learn to darn your knitted socks with your new darning loom! This can also be applied to other knitted garments.

Time: 13:15 – 14:00

Continental Knitting – with Bettina of Tine and Floyd

We will be knitting a little square sampler to introduce plain, purl and how to knit through the back loop as well as a few rows of fair-isle knitting. Afterwards we cast on a hat with double pointed needles and start off this project.

I also offer a joined zoom session afterwards where we can finish off the hat together and solidify the technique.

Handheld Loom Weaving with Emma of WeaversLoft

Have a go weaving on a small scale, play with colour and texture to create your own mini masterpiece.
