Upstairs in the Antony Room there are Skills Spotlight Sessions for you to take part in! Each session costs just £5 per person and includes expert tuition plus the required materials for you to use and take away with you.
There are only 8 places per session, so don’t miss out! Book your place in advance using the links below.
Kits and materials will also be available to buy from the exhibitor’s stand.
The Antony Room is accessible via a lift or stairs from the ground floor.

Drop Spindle Spinning – with Rachel of The Hive, Pelynt
Step back in time to unlock the ancient secrets of the drop spindle. Discover how this simple tool turns wool fibre into beautiful yarn!
You’ll be provided with a drop spindle and fibre, to learn learn the basics of turning fibre into yarn using a suspended (drop) spindle.

Crocheting a mandala into a hoop – with Emma of Pineapple Fibre Art
Learn how to transform a simple crochet piece into a stunning, gallery-ready wall hanging!
You’ll be provided with premade mandalas for you to crochet into a hoop, to learn this technique for displaying your crochet mandalas.

You will learn a few beginner-friendly macramé knots and create your own colourful, daisy inspired keyring or bag charm to take home.

Beginner Amigurumi Crochet – with Natalie of Made in the Button Room
Master the essential techniques of amigurumi with a simple starter project. Use these skills at home to start your very own collection of adorable, handcrafted creatures!
A friendly and relaxed introduction to amigurumi, helping you practice crocheting in the round while making re-usable organic cotton face scrubbies.

Knitting in the Round – with Kath of Kathryn Morgan Designs
